A therapist with a background you wouldn't expect.
Engineer. Entrepreneur. Cross-cultural leader. And now psychotherapist and creator of The Maduro Method. The path was anything but linear, and that's exactly what shaped the work.
Hi. I'm Rosalie.
What if your body already knows the way forward and simply needs the right guide to listen?
I'm a Filipino-American engineer-turned-psychotherapist. I created The Maduro Method to bridge mind, body, and story because healing isn't just emotional. It's relational, embodied, and deeply personal.
My path to this work was anything but linear. I spent two decades as an engineer, consultant, and entrepreneur, building cross-cultural partnerships across startups, midsize companies, and global institutions, and moving into leadership roles along the way.
Those years taught me that strategy and structure matter, but they are never the whole story. How people respond to pressure, navigate differences, and make decisions often determines whether good ideas can move forward. I also saw how deeply people want meaning, belonging, and the freedom to be fully themselves. Both insights now shape the work I do.
I hold a particular commitment to supporting BIPOC, AAPI, Filipinx, and LGBTQIA+ communities, especially those who have felt unseen, misunderstood, or underserved within traditional therapy spaces.

The work I do with clients.
"I specialize in trauma. When clients come to me, they often carry a glass that feels fragile and unsteady, as if it's about to shatter. Together, we take the courageous step of breaking that glass into tiny pieces, exploring each fragment with care and curiosity.
Piece by piece, we examine what belongs in their reauthored story, what fits, what doesn't, and how it all connects. This process means revisiting old memories, untangling the threads of past pain, and confronting patterns that no longer serve them.
From there, our work shifts to polishing that glass, refining the narrative into one that reflects strength, resilience, and the beauty of a true self. It becomes a story they can own with pride."

That piece-by-piece process is still central to how I work. We use somatic and nervous-system-informed tools to support safety, presence, and enough steadiness to explore difficult material without forcing the pace.
Learn more about The Maduro MethodThe framework behind the work.
My therapeutic and relational work draws from The Maduro Method, a nervous-system-informed approach that integrates mind, body, and story. It helps people work with patterns that insight alone may not change.
My partnership work also draws on two decades of experience in engineering, entrepreneurship, and cross-cultural leadership. I bring relational insight together with systems thinking and practical structure to help partners work through communication, roles, decision-making, and shared direction.
My clinical work has developed across community mental health, group practice, and specialized therapeutic settings, shaping the integrative approach I bring to my work today.
